Abstract

The main aim of protection system is used to protect safety of human cause by electrics current and to protect equipment from the fault. The fault can cause over current which has big value and endangerous the equipment. Besides the fault can also cause supply of energy to consumer is disturbed. The fault can be permanently or temporary. Coordination of protection system between OCR and recloser is needed to anticipate the fault.To create good coordination in protection system, the threshold setting is the main key. In determining OCR and Recloser setting, there are many effect that need attention for example the use of curve characteristic, current setting (In) and time setting (Tms)Based on reaserch data and calculation, the biggest of 3 phase short circuit over curent in feeder SNT 2 is 12 kA in the near of substation. While the smallest of 3 phase short circuit over curent in feeder SNT 2 is 1,9 kA in the tail of network. The smallest of 3 phase short circuit over curent can be detected by recloser 2.The three relays, OCR, Recloser 1 and Recloser 2 have each different graph of characteristic that is not proportioned. Its shows that the setting of three relays is correct because there isn’t any relay that precede the other relays.Keyword :  Protection system, OCR, Recloser, Coordination, Fault, Feeder SNT 2.

Abstract

Artificial neural network (ANN) is a modern computing paradigm. That can be used for the pattern recognition and other. Backpropagation is artificial neural network which using hidden layer addition. Computation of artificial neural network through some certain step like training phase and examination. After both the step reached, so a neural network capable to recognize pattern to be entered will be found.The purpose of this research is simulation of artificial neural network that capable to pattern recognition from output of electrocardiogram by helped of MATLAB program. Input of result electrocardiogram record, then input of data can be normalization after that data can be proccesed by backpropagation computing with two step (training phase and examination phase). Output of ANN is like explaning condition of patient is normal, rhinitis kronis or epistaksis.Keyword : rhinitis kronis, epistaksis, artificial neural network.

Abstract

In line with development of science and technology, giving many ease to us to do various activities from thing which is easy until complicated thing. Control system increasingly plays important role in assisting human life every day. One of controller system which many enthused is microcontroller. In this scheme of writer will build a system use microcontroller as its controller. Appliance which will be designed is a simulation system payment of retribution gate park to use AT89S51 microcontroller. This Appliance will work when vehicle get through the gate park. Vehicle moment get through the gate park will be detected by sensor to open of enter latch, and close of enter latch. Later, its detected by light sensor at retribution area to determine vehicle type so that display of LCD ( Liquid Crystal Display) puts forward vehicle type information and many coin to be paid. Abstract

Necessity of electric power in Indonesia straight rise agree with economic and industry development a long with society growth. Because of that, government must be well to give service of electric with SUTET 500 kV.In the distribution electric power from generation to load centre used transmission line, because distance from generation to load centre is so far. Electric power in flow, they have a power loss. It’s because factor of isolator leak and corona leak then the voltage will be down (voltage dropped) and for efficiency of transmission will be down too.The aim of this research is to calculate power loss in SUTET 500 kV. This calculates had been done three different times in SUTET Ungaran – Pedan at 15th-24th August 2007 07.00 am (lead has been started), 13.00 pm (lead has been changed from low to middle) and 18.00 pm (lead on the top). As the result of this calculate, at Wednesday, 15th August 2007 at 18.00 pm have the biggest value of power loss 6.179.710,62 Watt and the smallest power loss has been done in Wednesday 15th August 2007 at 07.00 am and Wednesday 22nd August 2007 at 07.00 am 2.816.691,632 Watt.The SUTET 500 kV Ungaran – Pedan efficiency value in good condition because the average approximately 100 %. Nevertheless, there are lack of the result because calculate only in ten days. The best way to reduce this lack is continuously calculation.Keywords :PowerLoss,Voltage Dropped, Corona

Abstract

One of popular services in GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) system is SMS (Short Message Service). Beside of the low delivery cost, SMS also allows notification and alert delivery. SMS has good and important role in telecommunication world, so the understanding about SMS technology is very needed. Looking for a good method to help about SMS technology understanding until right know is rarely, especially about SMS delivery process. This project aims to create an animation of SMS delivery process on GSM system using Macromedia Flash MX, so hopefully could help to study about SMS delivery process. The SMS animation delivery program with Macromedia Flash MX could demonstrate three processes in SMS delivery mechanism, such as SMS delivery success, delay and fail, but can not demonstrate the signal process and the conversion message with detail.Keyword : GSM, Macromedia Flash MX, SMS

Abstract

Sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, banyak memberikan kemudahan kepada kita untuk melakukan berbagai aktivitas dari hal yang mudah sampai hal yang rumit. Sistem pengendalian semakin berperan penting dalam membantu kehidupan manusia         sehari - hari. Salah satu sistem pengendali yang banyak diminati adalah mikrokontroller.Pembuatan alat pencegah kebakaran dilatarbelakangi oleh kebakaran yang banyak disebabkan oleh listrik karena hubung singkat, kabel – kabel yang terbakar karena isolator kurang bagus dan mcb yang terbakar karena kelebihan beban yang terdapat pada box panel listrik. Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana cara membuat alat dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler AT89S51 dan peralatan elektronik lainnya yang dibutuhkan dan dapat diprogram sesuai keinginan. Sistem pengaman ini terdiri dari: sensor suhu(LM35DZ), sensor cahaya (LDR), ADC sebagai inputan. Sistem mikrokontroler AT89S51 sebagai central processing unit dan tujuh segmen serta relay sebagai outputan sistem. Sistem kendali yang digunakan adalah kendali on of. Prinsip kerja dari alat ini jika mendeteksi cahaya yang dihasilkan dari percikan api/api (sensor cahaya) atau suhu yang panas (sensor suhu) maka akan memutuskan jaringan listrik tiga fase secara otomatis dan alarm sebagai tanda adanya bahaya bagi operator atau petugas serta kipas untuk memadamkan api. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa alat pencegah kebakaran pada box panel dapat digunakan untuk menghindari terjadinya kebakaran yang disebabkan oleh listrik pada box panel dan diharapkan tingkat kebakaran dapat dikurangi.

Abstract

Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) adalah sistem telekomunikasi berbasis circuit-switched. Pada awalnya PSTN hanya menyediakan layanan voice. PSTN sekarang telah berkembang ke arah pelayanan komunikasi data yang didorong oleh berkembangnya dunia internet dengan Internet Protokol (IP)-nya. Telah muncul teknologi Voice over IP (VoIP) yang mampu melewatkan trafik voice pada jaringan data dengan mengubah voice menjadi paket. VoIP telah mendorong trend/kecenderungan terjadinya konvergensi antara PSTN dengan Public Switched Data Network (PSDN) menjadi satu jaringan masa depan yang berbasis packet-switched yang disebut Next Generation Network (NGN). Softswitch telah muncul sebagai sebuah teknologi yang mampu menghubungkan PSTN dengan PSDN. Softswitch dirancang untuk dapat memberikan layanan VoIP, data, dan multimedia. Softswitch dengan protokol yang dimilikinya dapat memberikan seluruh fungsi layanan PSTN, baik secara trunk maupun lokal. Arsitektur softswitch terdiri atas 4 layer, yaitu: Application Layer, Control Layer, Transport Layer, dan Access Layer. Hal ini mengacu pada arsitektur NGN.PT. Telkom Divre IV Semarang melakukan migrasi terhadap jaringan PSTN-nya pada level trunk (class 4) dengan mengintegrasikan Trunk Gateway Softswitch yang berbasis packet-switched sebagai pengganti sentral trunk SM1T yang masih berbasis circuit-switched. Pekerjaan integrasi ini dilakukan dengan memigrasikan trafik dari sentral local exchange yang semula dibebankan terhadap sentral trunk SM1T yang berbijak pada Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) backbone ke Trunk Gateway Softswitch (SM2T) yang berpijak pada IP backbone.Kata kunci : PSTN, Softswitch, NGN , Trunk Gateway, Integrasi, Migrasi, Paket.

Abstract

Akuisisi data kecepatan dan arah angin dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan data yang akan digunakan dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan. Dalam skripsi ini penulis merancang alat ukur kecepatan dan arah angin berbasis komputer. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk menghasilkan suatu alat pengukur kecepatan dan arah angin yang murah, handal, dan mampu mengirimkan data ke komputer secara Real Time.Alat ini terdiri dari perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, perangkat keras berupa baling baling kecepatan angin dan sirip penunjuk arah angin. Sebagai pengindera kecepatan dan arah angin menggunakan sensor optocoupler yang dihubungkan ke port paralel. Sedangkan perangkat lunak dengan program Delphi yang akan membaca dan menampilkan data hasil pengukuran.Pada penelitian dan pembahasan, penulis melakukan pengujian kecepatan angin dari kecepatan 1 m/detik hingga 15 m/detik, pengujian 16 arah mata angin, dan tegangan out put sensor. Sebagai kesimpulan bahwa alat ukur kecepatan angin ini mempunyai daerah kerja 1 m/detik hingga 4 m/detik dengan tingkat error 3,39% sedangkan untuk alat ukur arah angin mempunyai tingkat error 6,25%. Disarankan untuk meningkatkan ketelitian dengan peningkatan aspek mekanis dan pengembangan perangkat lunak..Kata kunci : Sensor Optocoupler,Pemicu schmitt, dan register data port paralel
